Tonight, something truly meaningful happened - we met him.
On the roads of Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, our volunteer Anu noticed him sitting quietly in the cold. He lives each day without the support of legs, yet what stood out most was not his condition it was his strength, patience, and dignity.
Wrapped in the silence of the night, he carried a resilience that words cannot fully describe. When a warm blanket was placed around his shoulders, it wasn’t just relief from the cold it was a moment of connection, care, and being seen.
This moment reminded us that service is not about what someone lacks, but about recognizing their humanity.
